Dylan Edwards starts his 2nd season with the Steelmen since signing from Brynmawr RFC. Dylan scored the winning try in the last minute of the SRC Playoff semi-final against Newport RFC.
Morgan Richards starts his 4th season with the Steelmen playing across the back 3.
Mitch Rankine, starts his 2nd season with his hometown club having joined from Brynmawr RFC. Mitch started in the playoff final in 2025/26.
Ryan Gardner passed 50 appearances for the Steelmen in 2025/26.

Back Row retained for 2026/27
The Steelmen are delighted to announce that back rowers Sion Parry, Ryan Jenkins, Dylan Burrows, Ben Main and Joe Rees-Weldon have been retained for 2026/27.
Sion Parry, who was recently announced as captain of the Steelmen for 2026/27, will start his 3rd season with the Steelmen.
Ryan Jenkins, passed 50 appearances for the Steelmen in2025/26, will look to continue to make a big impact as a ball carrying number 8.
Joe Rees-Weldon will start his second full season with the Steelmen, while Ben Main will look to close in on 50 appearances for the Steelmen in 2026/27.
Dylan Burrows, who played in the SRC Playoff final in May, will start his first full season with the Steelmen since signing from Bridgend Ravens in January 2026.

Retained – Jon Evans, Gruff Tough and Rory Harries
It will be ‘same again’ at scrum half for the Steelmen in 2026/27 with Jon Evans, Gruff Tough and Rory Harries all being retained.
Jon Evans returned from injury during the second half of last season, starting in the SRC Playoff Final against Llandovery in May.
Gruff Tough will start his 2nd full season with the Steelmen since making his debut as an outside against Pontypool in December 2024,
Rory Harries starts his 4th season with the Steelmen having passed 50 appearances in 2025/26.
