Retained – Jon Evans, Gruff Tough and Rory Harries

It will be ‘same again’ at scrum half for the Steelmen in 2026/27 with Jon Evans, Gruff Tough and Rory Harries all being retained.

Jon Evans returned from injury during the second half of last season, starting in the SRC Playoff Final against Llandovery in May.

Gruff Tough will start his 2nd full season with the Steelmen since making his debut as an outside against Pontypool in December 2024,

Rory Harries starts his 4th season with the Steelmen having passed 50 appearances in 2025/26.
