Leave the M4 at Junction 28 (Tredegar Park) and, at the roundabout, follow the A467 for RISCA and BRYNMAWR. (This will be first left if you are coming from the West but well round to your right if you’ve come from the East.) You very soon hit another roundabout at which you should follow the A467 and the same signs. This is a half-decent dual carriageway. Through a series of roundabouts, keep on the A467, following BRYNMAWR signs.

Approximately 12 miles after leaving the M4 you will pass through a fairly large intersection with traffic lights at CRUMLIN. Just before you get to the traffic lights at CRUMLIN, you will see on your left the factory of the Japanese Hi-Fi/ Video Manufacturer AIWA.

Keep ahead, follow the A467 which is now single carriageway. At the next roundabout, take the first left onto  the A4046. You will see signs for FESTIVAL PARK. You will travel along a narrow road with pine forests and, after a few miles take the third exit at the roundabout to bypass the small township of CWM.
Stay on this road until you come to WAUNLWYD and look out for the Ambala Indian Restaurant (formerly the Park Hotel) , a grey stone building ahead and slightly to your right. Keep ahead, downhill to a roundabout and take the second exit. On the next roundabout, go straight on and keep ahead, eventually passing  the Gwent County Archive on your left. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout, under a bridge and turn right for Ebbw Vale Rugby Club.

From the A465 (Heads of the Valleys Road)

At the Rassau Roundabout follow the exit signposted EBBW VALE (1st exit if westbound, 3rd if eastbound). Carry straight on. Shortly, on your left will be Llŷs Glyncoed and the hospital Ysbyty’r Tri Chwm.
At the roundabout, take the first exit. On your left is the Fire Station. Carry straight on. At the next junction, complete with lots of traffic lights, you will see Ebbw Vale Rugby Club on your left.
