Ebbw will make the long trip north as we take on RGC in Colwyn Bay on Saturday.
Our last trip to Gogledd Cymru was a frustrating one, resulting in a 17-13 loss to former Steelmen coach Ceri Jones’ side.
Jason Strange will be no stranger to playing on Eirias Park, having visited with Ebbw previously before taking the Wales U20s to a Grand Slam there.
Ebbw enter following a thrilling Gwent derby, where they fell inches short in the 85th minute, having defeated Llanelli a fortnight earlier.
RGC have truly hit their best form of the season over the winter period, with their win over Ebbw back in October getting them on the board for the first time this season. Having won each of their last two game, they’ll be a threat around the park and the Ebbw defence will have to keep a steady eye on their backline.
Jason Said;
“I thought we were really good value in the second half and nobody would have had any complaints if we had won or drew.

“The bench all made an impact and we’re just looking to make sure we take our chances more and we’ll have to against RGC. Ceri Jones has got them working well from what I know, but we’ll focus on ourselves.
“We don’t have an fresh injuries, Aaron Coundley is probably going to be looking at Swansea as his return.
“Our intensity is up and we looked the better team in the final quarter, which is testament to the hard work of the players and how well we’ve worked their fitness.”
Let’s make sure we get plenty of red, green and white support up north and make RGC #FEELTHESTEEL!!!
