Following the appointment of club stalwart Mathew Williams as Head Coach for the youth team at Ebbw Vale, the club are now recruiting an Assistant Coach to work with Mathew and the youth team and aid the clubs Pathway to Premiership programme.

As Assistant Coach you will also work with the senior squad coaches for preparation of the club’s Development XV fixtures

Duties will include:
– Responsibility for backline play
– Assist the Head Coach in team tactics and playing strategy
– Enhance player’s core skills
– Attend and deliver on youth team and development XV sessions
– Attend youth and development XV matches

This role will suit an enthusiastic and ambitious coach who wishes to be part of a Premiership club coaching environment, ideally WRU (or other recognised union) Level 2 qualified, or at least be willing to work towards that qualification
