Ebbw warmed up for the new Premiership season with an excellent performance that saw them hold the fully professional London Welsh side to a draw, having dominated for much of the game. Ebbw’s tries came through Chris Levesley (2), Josh Lewis and Jordan Howells. Lewis converted two.

The Steelmen now look forward to Sunday’s first league fixture, away to Llanelli.
