Ebbw Vale scored 10 tries and 8 conversions at Caldicot on Saturday in the final friendly match before the league action starts at Bargoed on August 26th.

Tries came from Steffan Thomas (3), Toby Fricker (2), Joe Franchi, Owen Jones, Dai Jones, Andy Evans and Chrsitian Parker. Callum Hall converted 6 and Lewis Dennett, 2 (or maybe 5 and 3).

Many thanks to Caldicot for their hospitality and for putting up fierce opposition on the field. Their work at rucks was particularly good and they succeeded in turning the ball over on several occasions. We wish them every success this season.
