Ebbw just lost out in a tense and enthralling encounter with RGC. After the hosts had much the better of the first half, but only led by 16-12 at the interval. Ebbw fought back superbly to lead before RGC went back in front with a controversial score that appeared to include a blatant obstruction. Ebbw again came back and secured a losing bonus point, scant reward for a fantastic effort.
