Christmas Food Donation
We are supporting our charity partner The Food Cupboard at Hilltop Cabin to help families in our community throughout the Christmas period. We will be taking donations at the club shop every Thursday night starting next week and prior to all our home games between 1st November and 13th December. If you are able to bring non-perishable items between these dates or on a Thursday night for the next 6 weeks, you will be helping families in our community through the Christmas period. Examples of items we will take:
Tinned food – beans, tomatoes, soup, corned beef, tuna, peas, meatballs, curry, custard
Jars – sauces, jam, peanut butter, baby food
Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, powdered milk
Pasta, rice, noodles
Biscuits, sweets, chocolate, Christmas puddings, boxed trifles
Crisps, snacks, selection boxes
Personal hygiene items – soap, toothpaste, nappies, deodorant, shampoo, shower gel
We realise the cost of living crisis is hitting many families really hard this year, and we would like to support our community to at least be able to eat over the Christmas period when families struggle the most. PLEASE DONATE ANYTHING FROM THE LIST ABOVE OR ANY NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS.
