Ebbw Vale took 5 points from a convincing win over Bedwas at Bridge Field on Boxing Day. Carl Meyer scored two tries, Lloyd Evans scored one and there was a penalty try earned by the scrummaging power of the Ebbw forwards, Rhys Jones had a prolific afternoon scoring 16 points through four penalties and two conversions. The win lifted Ebbw to 3rd in the Premiership, behind Merthyr and Pontypridd.
