Ebbw’s new look outfit beat a combative Tata Steeel RFC by 26 point to 5, scoring 4 tries in the process through James Lewis (2), Spencer Gibson and Carl Lewis. Callum Hall added one conversion and Dai Langdon, two.

The Ebbw coaches will have learned more about the various combinations on view and will be busily planning for the remaining friendlies at Chinnor and Maesteg over the next two weekends.
