Ebbw Vale team v Merthyr
A long list of injuries forces Head Coach Lee Davies into a number of changes for the tough visit to in form champions Merthyr tonight. The enforced absentees are as follows:

Dai Jones  – illness
Josh Jacas – ankle injury
Ian George – dead leg
Rhys Francis – shoulder injury
Owen Jones – knee injury (which is a minimum 8 week absence)
Cameron Regan – back injury
Ashley Sweet – back injury

Luckily, hooker Joe Franchi has shaken off a knock that enables him to take a place on the bench.

Thanks to Brynmawr, Aberdare and Caerleon rugby clubs for providing permits for Ebbw legend Damien Hudd, former Steelman Lewis Young and the highly rated Sam Ireland who has trained with the club this week and will look to have an opportunity to make an impact from the bench. The versatile and energetic Kristian Parker switches position to number 8 where he has experience at Championship level

Dan Haymond, Srdan Majkic, Dom Franchi, Dai Langdon, Toby Fricker; Callum Hall, Carl Lewis; Ross Jones, Mathew Williams, Rob Sevenoaks; Damien Hudd, Lance Randall; Rhys Clarke, Ronny Kynes (capt), Kristian Parker.
Subs: Joe Franchi, Joel Harries, Joshua James, Jon Davies, Lewis Young, Sam Ireland, Lewis Dennett, James Lewis.
